We have heard and seen Creative Photography, Concept Photography but never seen Coincidence Photography like this.

This looks like sheer coincidence, they all look real, I bet you would agree to that.

New Update: There is so much going one here, we decided to dedicated one more Page to Coincidence Photography. Have fun browsing Coincidence Photography Reloaded

Update: This Page was a hot property on the www a few weeks back. Thanks folks for making it hot and many thanks to those who keep revisiting. We have also seen many variants of this page on plenty of web sites So we thought why not to keep adding to the list. The last image is a recent addition.

Also, we have had many comments most of them suggesting all or most pictures are shopped. Well, let’s not get into the pixel details but here is comment posted (on the comment section) by Bruno

“the first one is mine, it’s real but it sure wasn’t planned - well, except if you count getting a step-ladder to be in the right position, once I realized what was about to happen, as planning…

here’s the original: http://www.flickr.com/photos/beegee74/165007282/”

Enjoy folks, we will keep adding more

the bunny one is a photoshop (check the worth 1000 mark) but the rest are pretty awesome

  2. AnonJuly 8th, 2008 - 9:49 am

    Worth1000 = photoshop’d

  3. Justin CaseJuly 8th, 2008 - 9:58 am

    some seem photoshopped

Number 1 wasn’t an accident but is a real photo.

Number 2 is a fake. By international treaty stamps always have a country’s name and either the denomination or a code indicating a fixed value (such as the letter series of US stamps over a few decades).

    Number 3 I can’t say for sure.

    Number 4 is an ad with a viral to promote the ad promoting the radio station. Number four is a fake;

    Number 5 is a fake. Worth1000-dot-comm is a photoshopper’s site.

Number 6 looks posed though the guy in uniform probably wasn’t aware of it.

Number 7 may or may not be staged.

  5. Rob CockerhamJuly 8th, 2008 - 10:20 am

I would venture to say that some of these photographs are photoshopped.

  6. kurtJuly 8th, 2008 - 10:25 am

World trade center stamp lacks Country name and value of stamp. May be a photoshop

heh heh, the microphone-eye man is a radical right winger politician in hungary. name is István Csurka.

  10. Alex the Freelance TwinJuly 8th, 2008 - 11:21 am

@ Kurt, If you look along the edge of the stamp and the plane-stamp, both are very pixelated indicating most likely you’re correct.

I love this kind of photography! My favorite photographer is Matt Stuart: http://mattstuart.com/

  13. TerryJuly 8th, 2008 - 5:35 pm

This happens all the time. When you’re studying photojournalism, they teach you to look at the background. Otherwise that pretty fountain behind you will look like it’s coming out of the top of your head.

  14. CORY DOCTOROWJuly 8th, 2008 - 5:50 pm

    I MEAN REALLY GAY!!

  15. JIm JopnesJuly 8th, 2008 - 7:41 pm

  20. subcorpusJuly 8th, 2008 - 9:56 pm

i think this is a sub-cat for creative photography …
unless the photographers “discovered” the “coincidences” after they took the pics …
    highly unlikely … hehe …

  21. JerseyJuly 9th, 2008 - 12:47 am

  22. Peter NorthJuly 9th, 2008 - 1:06 am

I would venture to say that some of these people need a life. Who cares if it’s a photoshop of not?

  23. JesJuly 9th, 2008 - 2:00 am

hey, the stamp is only pixelated because its been zoomed in…

  27. Hans MolemanJuly 9th, 2008 - 8:12 am

All these negative “p’shop’d! p’shop’d!” posters need to go out a learn a few skills, and spend less time spouting (and not actually doing or making anything). Photoshopped or not, This was a great 5 minute diversion. (Digged).

  28. Hans MolemanJuly 9th, 2008 - 8:12 am

    …or Dugg, whatever.

  29. BrunoJuly 9th, 2008 - 10:15 am

  31. iliaJuly 9th, 2008 - 4:58 pm

  39. ratbagsJuly 13th, 2008 - 7:35 am

Is there anyone these days who doesn’t use ‘Shop or similar to edit/enhance pics? No? Then FFS stop commenting “Photoshopped” all over the place! Hans Moleman is right! And for the dickbrain who finished up with kthxbai - this isn’t a LOLCATS site, speak English you tosser!
As for the pics - good stuff, a picture should be a piece of art, and these do tell their own story. I don’t care if they’ve been tweaked a bit.

  40. menonJuly 28th, 2008 - 11:40 am

All of them are photoshop work….

  41. So whatJuly 30th, 2008 - 1:42 pm
