In a country where there is so much poverty, and in a world where there is so much sorrow and exploitation, to see a wild spree to waste resources for such crass displays and entertainment is sinful. We are indeed replaying the "last days of the Roman Empire" the world over. The 2008 Olympics is the watershed moment. All human beings, whatever their race or nationality, should hang our heads in shame for what we today call sports, entertainment and life style.
