This ran as part of a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal early this year. Pure brilliance.

Underneath what’s pictured above were these sentences:

No 1st or 2nd Checked Bag Fees

No Change Fees

No Fuel Surcharges

No Snack Fees

No Aisle or Window Seat Fees

No Curbside Checkin Fees

No Phone Reservation Fees

Yes, there are plenty of good reasons why Southwest trounces the competition in customer satisfaction surveys, but this ad sums the main one up nicely. I know what I pay for a ticket is the final price and, to borrow their language, they won’t #$*!% me over.

Now if only they would start flying to Latin America…

This is what I call a Smoking hot ad. Simple, hard hitting (in your face). Precise and concise

It’s true when they say, “In Advertising, Less is More” (Simplicity)

A copywriter at his best. Seriously, that certainly makes the point loud and clear, at times makes me wonder why do we need art directors when copy alone can do the job.

Quite an innovative campaign, from AXE which has always produced brilliant creatives. This series is somewhat an extension of a Teaser campaign.

Offbeat teen articles were placed in community newspapers in sections dedicated to young achievers. “AXE Get A Girlfriend” stickers were then stuck onto the articles.

The flip side to the campaign it had to have the big ‘Advertisement’ disclaimer on top which is quite a common practice with such insertions.

When compared to the other stuff Lynx/Axe this is definitely non-sexy
